DEAR GRADE 8 FAMILIES - FROM THE PTA
Our students' promotion is quickly approaching! To celebrate this occasion, the PTA is sponsoring three events -

The first event is the Promotion Ceremony on June 15th at 6:00pm
in the Norwalk High School auditorium.

The second event is the Promotion Dance
which is held directly after the promotion in the Nathan Hale Middle School gym.

The third event is the Grade 8 Picnic on Monday June 18th
 during school hours.

The students love these events. We are asking for donations and volunteers to help make these events a success.
Please click the SignUp Genius link for each event below. Monetary donations are always accepted and help tremendously.

FIELD TRIPS GRADE 8:

June 6, 2018: Vocal Ensemble field trip to NYC Broadway show.
Reminder to parents - if your child calls you to bring lunch or any other item to school, remind them to come to the office on their own between classes to see if the item has been dropped off. We will call students down between classes if possible, but we expect students to come on their own to check. We have outlined this in our NHMS Info Book if you need further reference. Thank you.

Please note that we do not allow parents to order food to be delivered to their child at school.
You can personally drop off food for your child, but we will not accept deliveries from local restaurants. The delivery drivers will be turned away. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please note, bus passes will be checked every day - morning and afternoon
Students must have a pass to ride the bus.

Students who have lost a pass can get a new pass from the Main Office for $1.00 and must come first thing in the morning. Passes cannot be replaced on demand at the end of the day. Please ensure your child has their pass in a safe place. We recommend placing the bus pass inside the clear sleeve of your child's binder, that way, they don't have to take it out.
