NHMS is proud to offer a choice of traditional instruction and arts integrated instruction for the 2021-2022 school year for our students.  Two houses will offer traditional instruction which delivers core content primarily through visual and auditory experiences.  One house will deliver core content using key theater strategies and by integrating the various art forms.  In April, current sixth and seventh graders will be able to opt in or out of the arts house by way of a survey from counselors.  In May, incoming sixth graders will be able to opt in or out of the arts house by way of the course selection sheet.

Three of our NHMS students hosted a community panel with the Mayor and Mrs. Rilling,  Superintendent Estrella, Ms. Amaker (PTECH), Rabbi Cantor Sklar (Temple Shalom), and Dr. Eddie Fergus of Temple University.  They presented tough and important questions about leading with an eye on inclusivity in 2021.  Watch the video here:  http://https//
